Lillehammer's large Olympic hill proved no obstacle for Jakub Janda of the Czech Republic. Janda won Sunday's World Cup ski jump with the longest jump in each round.

Is Czech ski jumping returning to its former glory? It used to be one of the real sporting prides of Czechs until about a decade or so ago. Famous names like Ploc and Raška are certainly imprinted on the minds of many Czechs growing up in the 70s and 80s.
