MSN Money - Associated Press Business News: Czech Airline to Fly to New Destinations
Czech budget carrier Smart Wings said Friday it plans to introduce new flights between Prague and cities in Spain, Bulgaria and Greece in June. The airline said in a statement it will operate one flight a week to the Spanish cities of Malaga and Gerona, two flights a week to the Bulgarian Black Sea ports of Burgas and Varna, and three flights a week to Greece's Thessaloniki in the summer season.
Over the last 8 or so years, many products remembered from the "communist" era have made an appearance - in recognition of the fact that not everything from that time had Marx mixed in. This flight to regions that were once the most popular summer seaside destination for Czechs (and pretty much the only one easily accessible) seems to be yet another trend towards the normalization of life - in the sense that Czechs no longer have to look at what they are doing and question whether it is too similar to what they had 'under the commies'.
