nejoblíbenějším nadělujícím zůstává podle očekávání Ježíšek. I další postavy spojované v Česku s rozdáváním dárků - Mikuláš s Andělem a Čertem - jednoznačně dominují nad postavami importovanými ze zahraničí.

Ať už jde o východního Dědu mráze, nebo západního Santa Clause. Právě tito dva zaznamenali od minulého měření největší propad. Naproti tomu Ježíšek a Anděl posílili.

A recent survey shows that despite the commercial onslaught of Santa and his elves which gave rise to the Santa Go Home campaign little baby Jesus along with Mikuláš's Angel are still in the lead in popularity contests. As the graph suggests even the Devil is ahead as a trusted icon.

Even the Soviet Děda Mráz is ahead and over 10% of respondents don't seem to have even heard of Santa, let alone the Elves and reindeer.

The survey also divided Christmas loyalty by religion and political affiliation. Not surprisingly Catholics are most anti-Santa and communists are most pro-Děda Mráz. The young generation seems to be the most accepting of Santa but not in huge numbers.
