Memorandum to ease handicapped travel on Czech railways - Prague Daily Monitor
PRAGUE, Jan 12 (CTK) - The number of barriers preventing the handicapped from using trains will be gradually decreased, according to a memorandum signed today by the National Council of the Disabled (NRZP), the Czech Railways (CD), the Transport Ministry and the state-run Railway Infrastructure Administration.

Czech Republic has a reasonably decent record in dealing with disabilities (particularly in education and awareness building) but many of the policies and public views are out of date and need to be modernized. This is just one of the examples of how much now needs to be done.
