Cech world's best goalkeeper in 2005 - IFFHS poll - Prague Daily Monitor
Petr Čech has won the world's best goalkeeper of 2005 poll conducted by the International Federation of Football Historians and Statisticians (IFFHS), the results of which were released today.

Great news for the young Czech whose last name Čech means Czech. This is a common last name as are Bohm, Böhm or Bém which are versions of the German word meaning Czech.
