Czech politicians do not protect economic interests in EU - poll - Prague Daily Monitor
PRAGUE, Jan 5 (CTK) - Almost half of Czechs believe that Czech politicians do not sufficiently protect the Czech Republic's economic interests in the European Union, according to a poll carried out by the AVE marketing agency at the end of last year and published today.

None of this is really surprising. In short, Czechs think politicians are not doing a good enough job in the EU and that the Czech Republic is not seen as being fully equal with the original EU states. This is not that different from views of many or most Brits who certainly don't believe that their leaders represent them effectively enough, and think that other countries are getting more out of the EU than they do (or flaunt the rules while the Brits observe them).
