Jméno a pěkně kulaté (150.) výročí narození táhnou. Co na tom, že zakladatel psychoanalýzy Sigmund Freud prožil v severomoravském Příboře jen první tři roky života a poté sem jen jednou zavítal jako student?

Sigmud Freud may have only spent the first three years of his life in Příbor, but that's not stopping this Czech town from celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of the town's famous 'rodák' (native) in style. Calling itself Freud's town and installing a Freud exhibit in a newly reconstructed house where Freud was born are just the run up to an official celebration event which thousands are expected to attend from all over the world.

Již nyní vítají návštěvníky města billboardy s vyobrazením slavného vědce (vousatá tvář a přísný výraz jsou samozřejmostí). Koupit lze hrníčky s Freudovým portrétem, cukrové doutníky Sigmunda Freuda. Naproti rodnému domku vznikl irský „pub“ - U Freuda.

Visitors greeted by billboards with Freud's portrait on entery will then be able to buy mugs with Freud's portrait, Freud's cigars made of sugar and have a pint in an Irish pub called Freud's.
