Slovak Romanies praise work conditions in Czech Republic - Prague Daily Monitor
Thousands of Slovak Romanies who come to work to the Czech Republic praise the working conditions and their earnings in this country, the daily Mlada fronta Dnes writes today.

"Entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic do not dare to tell anyone that they will not employ them because he or she is a Romany. The situation in Slovakia is different. Here they directly tell a job seeker that they do not employ Romanies," Kamil Karabinos from the Milan Simecka Foundation that helps Romanies says.

How important perspective is! Of course, we should not forget that the initial report was probably motivated by MF Dnes' desire to portray the Czechs' less than fair attitudes towards their 'own' Romanies in a better light.
