For the third year running, Czech Airlines has won the “The Best Airline Based in Central/Eastern Europe” award. At the same time, CSA also appeared on the shortlist of airlines nominated for the OAG “Airline of the Year 2006”, together with air carriers such as British Airways, Continental Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, and Qantas.
...
The prize is awarded every year, on the basis of the votes of experienced travellers, by the Official Airline Guide (OAG) based in London. The award is an expression of satisfaction with the level of services provided and the products offered by the airline, such as on-board services, its flight schedule, and the number of destinations in the given region to which the airline flies. This year, the selection was made from 38 of the most significant airlines.

CSA has always been a pretty good airline. On some routes such as Prague/London etc. it is a worthy competitor to the budget airlines.
