One third of Czechs to be of retirement age by 2050

The title really says it all. By 2050 the average age of the Czech population could be 48-50 years of age. This could include a quintupling of the number of women over 90 years of age. There will also be ten times as many men in that age range (but still only about half as much as women).

The article paints a bleak vision of a futuristic nightmare of a nation of old people and hints (ever so subtly) that all the young'uns will be of African and Asian descent. If that doesn't scare Czechs into breeding, nothing will.
