Czech teachers underpaid - OECD - Prague Daily Monitor There are 21 pupils in a class and 17 schoolchildren per one teacher on average at Czech elementary schools, the OECD's latest report, published by the Czech Institute for Information in Education today, said.

This is in line with OECD countries but Czech teachers (not surprisingly) are paid less than the OECD average. What is more interesting, though, is what actually happens in Czech classrooms. One day, I will put a few vignettes here.
