The poll at the same time revealed that Czechs are not tolerant of drugs, and a mere 17 percent of them would agree with marijuana´s legalisation.

This is only partially a surprisingly low number. Drugs were very strongly suppressed during communism and the antidrug message of the government was unwaveringly draconian. No distinction was ever made between kinds of drugs and they were thought to be equally addictive and evil. Still, I would have expected slightly higher support for the legalization of marijuana.
