ajoy!

 a few weeks ago i decided to teach myself Czech, i just got so overwhelmed with all the words!  i remember when i was in French class, we started out with the basics; colors, numbers, some words, greetings, months, days, etc.

i have most of them down already.  but where do i go from there? i have flash cards..but what else?

Has anybody  found somewhere a list of the most frequently used Czech words? E.g. it is possible to find 1000 most used English words, but did anybody find a Czech list?

When one sees "4+kk" or "2+kk" in a property advert, what does kk stand for, and is the number (4 or 2) generally the number of rooms, or just the number of bedrooms?
